- Participates in the Emergency Room QPI plan.
- Serves on Hospital committees and participates in committee evaluation processes as necessary.
Two (2) years previous experience in Medical-Surgical and/or previous outpatient experience preferred.
Education & Training:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Licensure, Certification, Registration & Evaluation:
Current Pennsylvania license as a registered professional nurse (RN). BCLS certification required. ACLS certification required within 6 months after employment. PALS certification required within 6 months of employment. CEN preferred.
Required to work flexible shifts and hours in order to accommodate the needs of patients on a daily basis. Employee performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s Ethic’s and Compliance program. Is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or, upward through the chain of command, Director of Legal Compliance or hospital hotline.
