
The Vascular Clinic at Jersey Shore Hospital treats area residents who are suffering from Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) or other vascular disease.
Jersey Shore Hospital handles the initial consultations, pre-operative diagnosis and any lab procedures that may need completed. When a patient needs vascular surgery, they will be sent to Evangelical Hospital in Lewisburg to receive treatment. However, post-operative follow-up and any other doctor-patient meetings will take place at Jersey Shore Hospital.
Dr. Todd Stefan, M.D., FACS, the physician in charge of the Vascular program, practices at Central Susquehanna Surgical Specialists in Lewisburg and is certified by the American Board of Surgery in surgery and in the subspecialty of vascular surgery.
Dr. Stefan travels to Jersey Shore Hospital twice every month to provide the Vascular services. His office is located within the hospital.
Stefan will also be working in tandem with patients’ primary care physicians, enlivening the close-knit community health care ideal.
