 Jersey Shore, PA (November 13, 2007) - Officials from Horizon Federal Credit Union presented the Jersey Shore Hospital Laboratory with 100 teddy bears for their young patients. The bears will be used to offer to young patients who are often scared and upset when they come for testing or blood work. John Phillips, CFO, of Horizon Federal Credit Union said, "Our members are always willing to give toward the purchase of these bears. Horizon Federal Credit Union considers the children in our area to be our future! So if we can place a smile on a child's face we have done a good deed!"
The Jersey Shore Hospital Laboratory sees over 2,000 outpatients each month, they are open Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. - noon. |
