Hospital Announces New Chief Nursing Officer

JERSEY SHORE—On behalf of the Jersey Shore Hospital Board of Directors and Administration, Jersey Shore Hospital is proud to announce Karen Zinobile as new Chief Nursing Officer.

Zinobile, of Lock Haven, has 35 years experience as a professional nurse leader. For the last five years, Zinobile has been working as Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, N.Y.

But Zinobile is no stranger to Pennsylvania, as she has extensive experience working at Williamsport Hospital as the Administrative Director of Emergency Services, and as the Inpatient, ICCU, and Emergency Department Manager at Lock Haven Hospital.

Excited to be back in the area, Zinobile said she is “interested in working in a team-oriented environment that is patient-focused and places a high priority on patient safety and quality.”

Zinobile also stated that she is excited to be at Jersey Shore Hospital in particular, as the hospital has “acquired a reputation for providing quality services in the community. The latest renovations and improvements continue to show the community’s support of this hospital…”

Zinobile is replacing former Chief Nursing Office Betsy Crossley. Crossley is retiring after 40 years of service to the Jersey Shore Hospital.
