		Hospital Celebrates Volunteer Week JERSEY SHORE— On Wed., April 21, Jersey Shore Hospital hosted a Volunteer Recognition Tea for the 2009-2010 year in celebration of National Volunteers Week. The tea is intended to highlight the hospital’s appreciation for all of the hours the volunteers have dedicated. During the 2009-2010 year, the volunteers logged a total of 1,998.5 hours. Volunteers who donated 500 or more hours of service received a pin for their special efforts. Those who received pins were Ruth Hinshaw for 500 hours, Judy Lorsong for 500 hours, Loretta Hummer for 3,000 hours, and Vito Lapriola for 6,500 hours of service. Also, Dave Kuehl received a patch for his first 100 hours of service. The hospital and its staff would like to thank each and every volunteer for their generosity and dedication to the hospital.
