
JERSEY SHORE—Jersey Shore Hospital will hold a semi-annual community health screen on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. in preparation for the upcoming fall and winter months.
The screen is sponsored by the Jersey Shore Lioness Club and residents can receive the following diagnostic lab testing for only $45:
-Complete Blood Count (CBC)
-Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP)
-Lipid Panel
-Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
These tests are valued at over $300 and are extremely beneficial for uninsured and underinsured individuals and families.
If desired, residents may also have a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) performed for $15 and an Occult Blood Colon Screen performed for $6.
The hospital is asking that those who participate fast for 12 hours prior to screening. Light refreshments and beverages will be available upon screening completion.
