Jersey Shore Hospital Congratulates “Rocker of the Month”

Jersey Shore Hospital would like to congratulate Richard Hamlin, Dining & Nutrition Services, for being September’s “Rocker of the Month.”

Hamlin is a food service worker at the hospital who is known for always having a pleasant attitude and being a team player. His job duties include preparing meals, setting up and preparing for dining events, and sanitizing/cleaning the kitchen area.

A fellow coworker had this to say about Hamlin, “He possesses a very caring attitude for his fellow employees and demonstrates leadership qualities to support his team in the right direction. He never complains and is always willing to step up to the plate when needed, no matter how big the job is. You can clearly see that he takes pride in his work.”

The Rocker of the Month award is similar to an employee of the month. Rocker is an acronym for “respecting our customers kindly and employees regularly.”
